Major storm on the French Riviera

You probably seen it on the news; there was a major storm here on the French Riviera. It has been raining non top since Monday night. But finally by 12:30 PM this afternoon, right on time for a pleasant lunch  (déjeûner) on the Mediterranean, the sun decided to grace us with its magnificent presence and golden rays.

I enjoyed a nice 3 course lunch overlooking the Mediterranean with a couple glaces of wine from Provence ( 3.50 Euros each = $4.00) for less than 30 Euros. A lunch like that would have cost me more than double plus the tip in Florida.

As I am walking back home, there are numerous city workers cleaning up the storm’s doing. There are even a couple fishing boats on the other side of the road across from the beach. Humm! How do they get there?

But i worry that it may be only temporary as the clouds are getting darker and darker. I am done with this rain and my shoes cannot even dry out.
